Overview
Two-year diploma training information technology administrators in Seneca's modern labs through hands-on work in networking, operating systems, security and cloud computing. Students learn to design and implement wireless, local/wide area and software-defined networks, configure open-source and proprietary operating systems, and administer systems both on premises and in the cloud. Hybrid delivery at Newnham Campus with January, May and September starts.

Admission Requirements: Admission requires an Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or equivalent, or assessment as a mature applicant (19 by the first day of classes, which waives the OSSD but not the program's subject prerequisites). Subject prerequisites: English at Grade 12 C or U level, or an equivalent course; mathematics: Grade 12 C or U, or Grade 11 U or M, or equivalent course. Canadian citizens and permanent residents may satisfy the English and Mathematics prerequisite(s) by passing Seneca's pre-admission test instead of holding the course, and applicants short of the academic subject requirements can pursue Seneca's recommended upgrading.
