PGCert in Professional Accounting

Professional Accounting is an Ontario College Graduate Certificate program combining theoretical accounting knowledge with training in current accounting software. Students choose between two delivery structures: starting in May or September with an optional four-month co-op work term, or starting in January on a fast-track option that omits the co-op and is completed in three semesters. Classes are delivered in small groups with one-on-one instructor attention. Coursework builds toward the CPA Professional Education Program's preparatory requirements and offers exemptions toward the ACCA Qualification. Admission requires a postsecondary three- or four-year degree, with selection based on previous academic achievement and strong written and oral communication skills. Domestic applicants submit transcripts through ontariocolleges.ca; applicants with international credentials must have them assessed for equivalency through ICAS or WES and confirm acceptance directly with CPA Canada for entry into its Professional Education Program.
