This diploma develops skills in pattern making and garment construction alongside coursework in fashion marketing, illustration, textiles, computer-aided design and product development. Students work in dedicated fashion labs that simulate industry production standards, and the programme includes an annual student fashion show with opportunities to present work at pop-up retail spaces. Students may volunteer backstage with the Music Theatre programme's costume designer, take part in industry field trips to manufacturers, fabric suppliers and design studios, and present to panels of industry professionals; a student charity production team and portfolio photo shoots are also part of the programme. The programme runs two years (four semesters) at the Main Windsor Campus with a September start. Graduates are prepared for entry-level roles in garment production, pattern making and fashion product development.
