Event Management Graduate Certificate

The Event Management Graduate Certificate is a one-year Ontario College Graduate Certificate delivered on campus at St. Clair College's Downtown Campus, based at the St. Clair College Centre for the Arts. The programme provides the skills needed to plan, organize, coordinate, implement and promote events for public, corporate and non-profit clients. Coursework covers financial planning and budgeting for events, venue management, marketing strategy, human resource management and professional ethics within the events industry. Students apply these skills to the planning and delivery of events as part of their coursework. The programme suits graduates of a college diploma or university degree, or those with relevant work experience, who want to move into professional event planning roles. Graduates are prepared for coordination and management roles in event planning, venue operations, corporate events, conferences, festivals and non-profit fundraising events.
