The Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) Apprenticeship at St. Lawrence College delivers the in-school training component of the Ontario apprenticeship program for the millwright trade. The program covers the theory and techniques required to repair and maintain industrial equipment, including machining, welding, installation of new component parts, and troubleshooting and repair of existing machinery. Training is organized into three levels, basic, intermediate and advanced, delivered in-person at the Kingston campus, alongside required on-the-job training with a sponsoring employer.
