Overview
The Social Service Worker Certificate provides an understanding of relational and communication skills for practice with individuals in distress and involved in programs in human service agencies. While developping knowledge of human development, economic disadvantage, diversity issues, adversity, and change theories. You will participate in a field education course in a community social service agency.
Requirements
Admission Requirements: Domestic entry requires Grade 12 completion or mature-student status, plus English Studies 12 or English First Peoples 12 at a minimum of 73% (or equivalent), and two letters of reference, with the admissions team providing a web link to an online reference form once the application is processed.
