Overview
Clinical Counselling and Psychotherapy is a Doctor of Ministry (DMin) concentration at Tyndale Seminary for registered psychotherapists and related professionals seeking to deepen clinical expertise while integrating psychology and theology. The program consists of 12 courses completed over three years in a hybrid format combining online study with in-person components. Coursework addresses contemporary therapeutic models, culturally informed practice, advanced case conceptualization and therapeutic skills, alongside research and leadership development. Students complete an integrated project portfolio comprising a 'person of the therapist' formational component, a research and literature review, and a clinical field project. Applicants must remain professionally active, seeing clients as a counsellor or psychotherapist on a full-time or part-time basis, throughout the program.
