This 45-credit Master's in Molecular Biology examines cellular function at the molecular level through rigorous, multidisciplinary theoretical and practical training. Students choose among options in systems biology, cellular and molecular medicine, or a general research stream, drawing on biotechnology, genomics, and proteomics; day courses are held on the Montreal campus, with mandatory research internships. Two structures are available: a one-year program with internships, or a two-year program including a thesis under the general option. Admission requires a bachelor's degree in biology, biochemistry, or a related field, along with a letter of intent, a curriculum vitae, and a letter of acceptance from an intended research director for the thesis track or from the option coordinator for the internship track. Universite de Montreal's French-language requirement also applies. The program admits students in the Fall, Winter, and Summer terms.
