This bachelor's degree prepares students to teach visual arts at the primary level and dramatic arts at the secondary level, leading to a teaching certificate (brevet d'enseignement) issued by Quebec's Ministry of Education. Admission Requirements: Applicants may qualify through one of several routes. Holders of a Diploma of College Studies (DEC) with foundational knowledge in arts disciplines or education are eligible. International applicants need an equivalent credential from a 13-year education system with an arts or education background. University students require a minimum of 15 completed credits with a cumulative average of at least 2.3 on a 4.3 scale. Candidates without these credentials may apply by demonstrating relevant knowledge in cultural or artistic mediation, or at least two years of equivalent work experience in arts or education, supported by a portfolio of 10 to 20 images and up to five videos, a letter of motivation, a curriculum vitae, and a descriptive list of submitted artwork.
