Requirements
Admission Requirements: Admission to the certificate in Northern Agriculture follows several routes. Under the college route, applicants must hold a Diplome d'etudes collegiales (DEC). Under the university route, candidates must have successfully completed a minimum of fifteen university-level credits with a cumulative average of at least 2.3 on a 4.3 scale. Under the experience route, applicants must have relevant experience in a field related to agriculture, of at least two years' duration and attested in writing. Applicants educated outside Quebec may be admitted on the strength of an appropriate diploma in chemistry, biology, environmental science, agriculture, or mathematics, with a general average of at least 12 out of 20 or the equivalent. Candidates whose first language is not French must also meet the university's French-language proficiency requirement, demonstrated through a recognized test such as the TCF, DELF/DALF, or the university's own TF-UQAC test, unless exempted.
