This is a 12-credit second-cycle short graduate program in élaboration de créature et simulation de chevelure-pelage, delivered in person at the NAD-UQAC campus in Montréal over intensive summer terms. It builds advanced skills in creature, hair and fur simulation for visual effects and animation, using industry-standard software (Houdini) through project-based learning set in professional production contexts. The program targets graduates already trained in digital creativity who want to specialize further in a high-demand visual-effects niche. Admission requires a bachelor's degree in a digital-creativity-related field with a cumulative average of at least 3.2/4.3 (a lower range of 2.8 to 3.2/4.3 is reviewed by committee), a portfolio evaluated at a minimum of 60%, an official transcript and a birth certificate. The intensive summer format allows working professionals to complete the specialization without a prolonged leave from industry employment.
