This 30-credit undergraduate certificate in Quebec Sign Language (LSQ) at Universite du Quebec a Montreal gives students structured training in the grammar and communication skills needed to use LSQ. Coursework covers the language's phonology, semantics, morphosyntax, and pragmatics, and situates LSQ within its cultural context and its relationship to other languages. The program is offered part-time only; courses carrying the LNG designation are delivered online, with other courses delivered on the Montreal campus.
