— it helps other students.
This master's programme allows students to specialize in letters by deepening their knowledge of texts and pursuing systematic reflection on the theoretical and institutional foundations of the discipline, through a research or research-creation thesis. It totals 45 credits at the second cycle, including a 30-credit thesis component. Coursework combines UQAR seminars with courses drawn from partner-university programmes, giving students access to a broader range of specializations within literary studies. Several delivery modes are offered: seminars given at UQAR are generally in person during the week, daytime and evening, while seminars offered by partner universities are accessible online. Admission is open for the Fall and Winter trimesters. The programme leads to a Master of Arts in Letters and is administered under UQAR programme code 2036.
