Overview
This 30-credit undergraduate certificate provides foundational training across the core areas of administration, including management, accounting, marketing, human resource management, finance, and economics, and can be used as a first step toward UQAR's Bachelor's degree in Administration. It is completed over a nominal two trimesters of full-time study and is offered on the Rimouski and Levis campuses, fully at a distance, or in a hybrid format combining in-person and online study.
Requirements
Admission Requirements: Admission is offered on four bases. Base collegiale: a Quebec Diploma of Collegial Studies (DEC) or, for applicants from outside Quebec, an equivalent diploma. Base etudes universitaires: at least five completed university courses (15 credits). Base experience: a minimum of two years of professional experience in an administration-related field, including at least one continuous year. All routes are subject to UQAR's policy on mastery of the French language, which can require a placement exam and, if not met, a mandatory French course. International applicants are admitted on the same bases but are restricted from the fully-online delivery format unless covered by an inter-institutional agreement. Admission is offered in the Fall, Winter, and Summer terms.
