Admission Requirements: Standard entry is a Québec DEC in Science with the engineering-track courses 201-NYA (Differential Calculus), 201-NYB (Integral Calculus), 201-NYC (Linear Algebra and Vector Geometry), 203-NYA (Mechanics), 203-NYB (Electricity and Magnetism), 202-NYA (General Chemistry) and 202-NYB (Solution Chemistry); listed technical DECs are also admissible if the equivalent course objectives are met, with UQAT make-up courses (MAT1005, MAT1102, PHY1001, PHY1201, CHM1001, capped at 9 credits) available for gaps, completed within 12 months of first enrolment. UQAT also admits on a university base (at least 15 university credits with a general average of at least 2.2/4.3) or an experience base (age 21 or over with at least two years of full-time relevant engineering-field experience, attested in writing). Every base requires proof of French proficiency under UQAT's institutional policy, and candidates schooled outside Québec need 13 years of prior schooling with a general average of at least 12/20 (unconditional at 15/20 or above).
