This bachelor's program trains students in animation for film, visual effects, and virtual environments, combining technical and artistic instruction. Full-time study over three years (90 credits) covers the twelve fundamental principles of animation and both traditional and digital techniques, including 2D, 3D, volumetric, and generative methods. Coursework develops scientific and methodological approaches to visual research and narrative design alongside practical animation skills. Students work in studio-based courses that build toward collaborative production experience. The program is taught in French and follows a mandatory full-time course sequence. Graduates are prepared for roles in animation studios, visual effects production, and related creative industries, with the technical grounding to adapt to evolving industry tools and workflows. Students may also take courses in the D, H, and C formats offered by the university, though on-campus studio work forms the core of the training.
