The first-cycle Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) prepares students to contribute to community health by overseeing the safe use of medications. The competency-based curriculum develops five professional competencies across four levels of mastery, giving students in-depth knowledge of medications alongside analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Teaching combines theoretical instruction with role play, case studies, computer laboratories, and supervised professional practice placements, with an emphasis on interprofessional collaboration. The program spans 164 credits over four years (12 sessions) full-time, admits new students in the fall term, and prepares graduates for licensure as pharmacists.
Requirements
Admission Requirements: Requires a DEC in Natural Sciences with specified biology and chemistry courses, or an equivalent pre-university diploma with satisfactory science preparation, and a minimum college performance score (cote R) of 30. Non-francophone applicants must score at least 400/699 on the TCF-TP test and at least 14/20 on the written expression component. Applicants aged 21 or older without a DEC are not eligible.
