This Bachelor of Education in Psychoeducation is a 90-credit, three-year full-time program that trains professionals to assess adaptive capacities and difficulties in individuals across everyday life contexts. Students develop competencies in evaluating psychosocial adaptation, designing intervention plans, and delivering preventive and re-educative psychoeducational services to children, adolescents, and adults. The curriculum combines coursework in human development, assessment methods, and intervention techniques with extensive field training, including 540 practicum hours completed three days per week during the final year. Graduates are prepared to work in schools, youth protection, health and social services, and community organizations, supporting individuals facing behavioural, social, or developmental difficulties. The program admits students from Quebec CEGEPs, other Canadian provinces, and international backgrounds, with quantitative methods and statistics coursework required as a prerequisite for all admission routes.
