This Master's in Education (M.Ed.) prepares certified secondary-school teachers specializing in Quebec Culture and Citizenship. The 60-credit program is estimated at two years of full-time study and develops the 13 professional competencies required by Quebec's Ministry of Education. Students combine coursework in pedagogy and didactics with three practicum placements and training in analyzing their own teaching practice. Course delivery mixes in-person, hybrid, comodal, and distance formats, though the program is not designed to be completed entirely online. Admission is offered for the fall term, which follows the normal full-time sequence, and for winter, though winter entrants should expect an adjusted course sequence. The program is delivered by Universite Laval.
