Overview
The Vente (Sales) specialization sits within the marketing area of the Bilingual Bachelor of Commerce / Baccalauréat bilingue en Administration des affaires, delivered through Campus Saint-Jean in partnership with the Alberta School of Business at the University of Alberta. Marketing links an organization to its customers, provides external perspective, drives innovation and growth, and generates revenue, value, and loyalty. The program draws on faculty research in retail, market research, and consumer behaviour, combining research-based principles with lectures, discussions, management case studies, group projects, and market simulations. Students develop practical skills in consumer and market analysis, managerial decision-making, and marketing program implementation, preparing them for sophisticated marketing and sales practice. As Canada's first bilingual Bachelor of Commerce, the degree combines French-language instruction with core business coursework accredited through the Alberta School of Business. Admission is non-direct entry, requiring a one-year preprofessional program in economics, mathematics, statistics, English, and French.
