This Bachelor of Nursing - After Degree program is designed for students who already hold an approved undergraduate degree and prepares them to write the Canadian licensure exam for Registered Nurse certification. Newly admitted students begin by attending courses at Lethbridge Polytechnic for the first two semesters before transitioning to the University of Lethbridge for the remaining coursework, a collaborative delivery model between the two institutions. Admission Requirements: Nursing (After Degree) requires an approved undergraduate degree of at least 30 courses (90.0 credit hours), including Human Anatomy and Physiology (6.0 credit hours over two term courses, minimum grade B-), Statistics (3.0 credit hours, minimum grade B-), a Fine Arts or Humanities course (3.0 credit hours), and Social Science courses (6.0 credit hours), all completed within the last seven years. Pre-interview applicants must meet a converted average of 3.00 on the University of Lethbridge's 4.00 scale, or 2.50 for the exception pathway; an asynchronous video interview is required of selected applicants, and Indigenous applicants with an attestation form receive special consideration. Applicants must provide proof of both Spoken English Language Proficiency and general English Language Proficiency; this page does not publish the score thresholds. The program admits in September, with a January 5 application deadline.
