After a common first year, students complete Second, Third and Fourth Year requirements totalling roughly 76 to 83 credit hours of chemistry, 12 credit hours of biology and 3 credit hours of mathematics, with the remainder in electives. Requirements
Admission Requirements: Admission to the Medicinal Chemistry program follows UNB's general entrance requirements for the Science area of study, set through UNB's admission requirements tool based on the applicant's home region and curriculum (select 'Science'). The admission average is calculated from the applicant's overall average in university-preparatory high school courses, and a pass is required in each subject counted toward admission. The program itself carries national accreditation from the Canadian Society for Chemistry.
