Overview

This undergraduate program leads to an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Music from the University of Ottawa's School of Music, within the Faculty of Arts, offered in English and French. The School offers training in performance, composition, music education, piano pedagogy, theory and musicology, and maintains ties with institutions such as the National Arts Centre and the Ottawa Symphony Orchestra. The 120-unit curriculum is organized into basic-skills courses, compulsory courses at the 1000, 2000 and 4000 levels, and optional and elective course units, completed over four years of full-time study. A French Immersion stream is available with this program.
