The DAN School of Drama and Music at Queen's University offers two undergraduate Music degree options: a Bachelor of Music and a Bachelor of Arts in Music. Both degree plans can also be taken as part of the Concurrent Education program through Queen's Faculty of Education. Applicants apply through the Ontario Universities' Application Centre; Bachelor of Music applicants must additionally complete an audition, either in person or through an online submission, in a stream such as Classical, Contemporary, Digital Media and Sonic Arts, or Music Theatre. The audition consists of a repertoire component and a technical component assessing vocal or instrumental facility. Attending an in-person audition allows applicants to tour the school's facilities and meet current students and faculty, though no preference is given to live auditions over online submissions.
