The Master of Engineering in Engineering Management develops the knowledge and skills of engineers and scientists in managing people, projects, resources, and organizations within technical environments. The program is offered alongside a Graduate Diploma in Engineering Management and requires 30 units of academic work, comprising 15 compulsory and 15 optional course units, completed within two years of full-time study. Both full-time and part-time registration are available. Applicants are expected to bring prior professional experience into the classroom, and coursework draws on real technical-management problems rather than a thesis. The program prepares graduates for management roles that bridge technical and organizational responsibilities in engineering-driven organizations, spanning sectors from manufacturing to technology services. The curriculum blends technical subject matter with management theory, covering areas such as project management, finance, and organizational behaviour as applied to engineering settings.
