The Bachelor of Arts in Visual Arts at the University of Regina is a four-year undergraduate program offered through the Faculty of Media, Art, and Performance in partnership with Campion College, First Nations University of Canada, and Luther College. It requires 54 credit hours of art courses, covering two- and three-dimensional studio practice alongside art history, theory, and design elements, with an additional 30 credit hours available for electives. The program combines hands-on studio work with critical study of contemporary art practices, building technical skills across a range of media while situating the work within historical and theoretical contexts. Students who want a deeper specialization can progress to the Bachelor of Arts Honours in Visual Arts, which adds 18 credit hours of upper-level studio and art history courses at the 300 and 400 level. Transfer students must meet the admission requirements of the Faculty of Media, Art and Performance.
