The programme runs for 4 years. Tuition for international students is CAD 40,894 per year (CAD 8,449 per year for local students).
This program, jointly offered by the College of Arts and Science and the College of Medicine, examines the structure, function, and development of organisms at the molecular, subcellular, cellular, tissue, and organ levels, with course content connecting to conditions such as Alzheimer's disease, cancer, and multiple sclerosis. Two pathways are available: a four-year Bachelor of Science (Biomedical Science) and an Honours Bachelor of Science in Cellular, Physiological and Pharmacological Sciences. The program can be completed full-time or part-time, and study may begin off-campus through flexible learning. Coursework includes Basic Human Anatomy, covering body systems through lecture and laboratory work, Advanced Cell Biology, addressing cell signalling and disease processes, and Human Physiology Transport Systems, focused on cardiovascular and respiratory function, alongside opportunities for hands-on experimental technique training. The program suits students preparing for professional health science programs such as medicine, dentistry, physical therapy, or veterinary medicine, as well as those aiming for advanced biomedical research at the master's or doctoral level, combining anatomical, physiological, and pharmacological coursework with a research-oriented Honours option.
