The Doctor of Musical Arts (DMA) in Performance is offered by the Faculty of Music at the University of Toronto through the School of Graduate Studies, as one of two fields within the DMA program alongside Composition. Admission requires a minimum average of B+ or better, for both domestic and international applicants, and no standardized English-language test is required or recommended for the DMA or the related Master of Music program. A supervisor is identified for the student upon approval, rather than before admission, and securing one is not a condition of admission. Further program details, including audition and portfolio requirements, are set out through the Faculty of Music's own admissions materials.
