The Bachelor of Environmental Studies in Geography and Aviation at the University of Waterloo combines geography coursework with professional flight training, leading to an integrated Airline Pilot Licence with a Commercial Pilot Licence alongside the degree. About half of the courses are Geography courses and half are Aviation courses. First-year courses cover aviation fundamentals, environmental studies, mapping, computing, and communications; upper-year options include remote sensing, human factors in aviation, aviation safety, and airline management. Flight training is delivered through a partnership with the Waterloo Wellington Flight Centre, where students log more than 200 flight hours. The program is offered in the regular format only and is not available as a co-op program. Graduates receive a Bachelor of Environmental Studies in Geography and Aviation.

Admission Requirements: Admission is based on an admission average, typically in the mid-80s. Ontario applicants require six Grade 12 U and/or M courses, including English (ENG4U), with a minimum final grade of 70%, and one Grade 12 U Mathematics course with a minimum final grade of 70%.
