MA/MS in Sustainability Management

The Master of Environmental Studies (MES) in Sustainability Management prepares students to support the economic, social, and political transition to sustainability. The program builds interdisciplinary research skills together with management approaches, strategies, and processes used to achieve sustainable growth outcomes across organizations and sectors. Students choose between two study options: a coursework-based track consisting of nine courses, typically completed in one year of full-time study, or a thesis-based track combining six courses with an original research thesis, typically completed over two years of full-time study. Both options draw on interdisciplinary environment, business, and policy coursework relevant to sustainability management practice. The program is delivered on campus, with admission offered for the fall term. Graduates pursue careers in sustainability management, corporate social responsibility, environmental policy, and related fields across public, private, and non-profit sectors.
