Overview
Environment and Business at the University of Waterloo leads to a Master of Environment and Business (MEB) in the Faculty of Environment, delivered predominantly online with two required on-campus block courses at the start and end of the program. The program examines management and sustainability concepts and their intersections, and includes a capstone project, a capstone residency, and participation in two multi-day professional conferences. Admission normally requires a four-year honours bachelor's degree from a Canadian university, or its equivalent, with a minimum of 75% overall standing in the last two years of study, plus at least three years of business work experience in a private, public, or non-profit sector setting. Applicants whose primary language of instruction was not English must meet Waterloo's English language proficiency requirement. The program can be completed full-time in 12 to 28 months or part-time over 40 months, with admission each Fall term.
