MA/MS in Sustainability Management (Water)

The Master of Environmental Studies (MES) in Sustainability Management, offered through the Collaborative Water Program, applies sustainability management principles to global water challenges. The program is research-based and combines core sustainability management coursework with two interdisciplinary water courses that integrate in-class lectures, fieldwork, interdisciplinary group work, and individual research seminars. This structure gives students both theoretical grounding and hands-on experience addressing water-related sustainability issues, culminating in an original research thesis. Students develop interdisciplinary research skills together with management approaches and strategies used to support sustainable growth and water resource outcomes. The program is delivered on campus and completed full-time over approximately twenty-four months, with admission offered for the fall term. Graduates pursue careers in sustainability management, water resource management, environmental policy, and related fields.
