Overview
Psychology at the University of Windsor examines why people think and act the way they do, covering core areas of psychological science. The program is offered as a three-year General degree or a four-year Honours Bachelor of Arts, with a co-op option and an optional undergraduate thesis, and can be combined with other subjects through Combined Honours arrangements. First-year psychology majors take an exclusive introductory course with support from upper-year student mentors, and students gain practical experience through community placements alongside opportunities to take part in faculty research. The curriculum balances applied learning with career preparation. Graduates pursue careers or further study in clinical and counselling psychology, social services, human resources, research, and related health and behavioural fields.
