Financial Services: Bachelor's Degree (BBA)

The Financial Services major is one of the specializations within Vancouver Island University's Bachelor of Business Administration degree, completed over four years (120 credits). It combines the BBA's core business courses in management, marketing, finance, and economics with major-specific coursework in financial services, and integrates hands-on learning through real-world team projects in every course. The program is offered at the Nanaimo campus or online; students choosing the online option gain preferential access to online Faculty of Management courses for their first 60 credits, after which they should be prepared to attend in person at the Nanaimo campus, though they may choose to attend earlier. The program has four intakes a year, in September, January, May, and June, and leads to a Bachelor Degree credential.
