Overview
The Forest Fundamentals Harvesting Practices Program includes employability skills training, foundation, occupational skills, hazard assessment, workplace work experience. Graduates will gain knowledge and skills in both classroom and hands-on settings that will help them to be successful as they continue within the industry.

Admission Requirements: Entry is by assessment testing in Mathematics, Reading Comprehension, and Combined Reasoning rather than by transcript, with a minimum age of 19; Grade 12 completion is preferred but not mandatory. Applicants must submit a personal profile and resume, hold a Class 7N driver's licence (Class 5 preferred), and attend a 30-minute interview if shortlisted; the programme also expects general physical fitness, with individual exceptions considered. No minimum GPA, average, or English-language test score (IELTS/TOEFL/PTE) is published; VIU does not publish a central English-test table for domestic applicants either.
