Overview

Performance (Voice) is a Bachelor of Music with Honours program offered by Western University's Don Wright Faculty of Music. Students complete a common first year shared with other Bachelor of Music programs, then progress through a specialized performance curriculum in years two to four focused on voice. Admission requires applicants to demonstrate at least a Level 10 Royal Conservatory of Music performance standard, or equivalent, in voice, along with evidence of exceptional performing ability, plus six approved Grade 12U or M level courses, including English (ENG4U), and an audition and interview evaluated by the Faculty. Proficiency equivalent to Royal Conservatory of Music Level 6 in piano and Level 6 in music theory is strongly recommended before entry. Applicants who are not recommended for admission to the Bachelor of Music program are automatically considered instead for first-year admission to the Bachelor of Arts (Music) program.

Requirements
