Overview
The Honours Specialization in Global Justice is offered by the Department of Political Science in Western University's Faculty of Social Science. Students apply to the module after completing first-year requirements and complete a 9.0-course specialization taken across the second, third, and fourth years of an Honours Bachelor's degree. The module builds on Western's introductory political science course sequence, requiring either Political Science 1020E or the paired 1021F/G and 1022F/G courses, or the paired 1025F/G and 1026F/G courses, plus two additional courses selected to broaden disciplinary context within the specialization. Admission into the module after first year requires an average of at least 70% across these three designated principal courses, with no individual grade below 60% in any of them. Graduates who complete the module fulfil the requirements for an Honours Bachelor's degree at Western University, within the Department of Political Science's range of honours specializations.
