This four-year Bachelor of Arts in Global Studies is delivered in person at Wilfrid Laurier University, with full-time or part-time study and intakes in September and January. The program examines the forces that divide and connect people globally, including armed conflict, human rights, migration, economic development, and environmental change, through an interdisciplinary curriculum drawing on political science, history, and international studies. Students develop skills in critical analysis, research methods, cross-cultural communication, and policy evaluation, often supported by field study or exchange opportunities. A co-op option is available, adding four-month work terms, and students can pursue combined programs adding a Master of Arts or Master of Business Administration. Graduates pursue careers in international development, public policy, humanitarian work, government, and non-governmental organizations, as well as graduate study in international affairs or related fields.
