This four-year Bachelor of Arts in Women and Gender Studies is delivered in person at Wilfrid Laurier University's Waterloo campus, with September and January intakes. The program examines how gender shapes identity, relationships, and societies, locally and globally, through feminist scholarship and social justice analysis. First-year core courses introduce gender studies and the study of power and everyday life, while upper-year courses cover feminist theory, gender and colonial legacies, transnational sexualities, and representation in popular culture. A co-op stream of three four-month paid work terms is available at a higher admission average, alongside a direct-entry Management Minor, an MBA pathway, and a pathway to a Sussex University MA in International Development. Graduates pursue roles such as children's rights advocate, lawyer or paralegal, policy analyst, social worker, and non-profit organization director.
