Program details

Overview

This program leads to a Master of Business Administration (MBA) at the Schulich School of Business, delivered primarily at the Keele Campus with some courses offered downtown, and available full-time over roughly 16 to 20 months or part-time over roughly 36 to 40 months, with evening, weekend and day scheduling options. The curriculum totals 60 credits, comprising 33 credits of required core coursework spanning accounting, finance, marketing, operations, organizational behaviour, strategy and sustainability, plus 27 credits of electives. Students may choose from more than a dozen specializations, including finance, entrepreneurship, digital transformation, supply chain management and health industry management, and complete a two-term Strategy Field Study capstone in which teams consult on real organizational problems. Applicants with a Canadian BCom or BBA may qualify for advanced standing that shortens completion to about eight months. Admission requires an undergraduate degree, at least two years of relevant work experience, standardized test scores and English proficiency, suiting professionals seeking management careers across consulting, finance, marketing and operations.

Requirements

Admission Requirements: Applicants need an undergraduate degree from a recognized institution with a minimum B average over the last two full years of academic work; those holding a three-year degree need one additional year of work experience beyond the standard minimum. A minimum of two years of relevant post-degree full-time (or equivalent life) work experience is required, and applicants must submit either GMAT or GRE scores with acceptable results on all measures. Unless exempt (two or more years of full-time study at an accredited English-instruction university), applicants must meet Schulich's graduate English proficiency minimums: IELTS Academic 7.0 overall with no band below 6.5, or TOEFL iBT 100 with no section below 23 (for tests taken before 21 January 2026; revised iBT scoring of 5.0 overall, 4.5 minimum per section applies after that date). The application includes two written essays, one timed written essay, two video essays, a resume, two references and unofficial transcripts; select applicants are invited to a 30-minute virtual admissions interview, which does not guarantee an offer.

Application Details

Application Deadline: Schulich BBA does not accept applications after its January 15, 2027 deadline (no late review), and requires a mandatory Supplementary Application due February 1, 2027, for Fall 2027 entry.
