The Bachelor of Science in Management Studies with an entrepreneurship emphasis follows a four-year recommended sequence with a summer field-study course before the final year. Early study builds a base in accounting, business mathematics, economics, computer applications and management principles, together with general education and religion courses.
The entrepreneurship emphasis includes an introduction to entrepreneurship, the behaviour of the entrepreneur, managing the family business, entrepreneurial finance, field studies, social entrepreneurship, innovation and organizational development, global entrepreneurship, new venture creation and strategic entrepreneurial growth. Students also study marketing, business law, risk management and insurance, operations management, management information systems and strategic management, and attend a current trends and issues conference in the final year. The sequence lists 132 required credits. General education and religion courses run alongside the business subjects throughout the four years.
