BA/BS in Tourism and Hospitality Management

This four-year professional bachelor's programme is taught in English at Turība University and leads to a professional qualification in the tourism and hospitality sector, with the title Tourism Services Manager. Students learn how to organise trips and journeys, how hotels and other accommodation providers are managed, the principles of catering and tourism logistics, and the fundamentals of running a business. Technology is part of the training, with students applying it to business management and service delivery. The content is designed around sustainable tourism development and aims to prepare graduates to take decisions and responsibility in a changing business environment. Internships are completed with tourism and hospitality companies in Latvia or abroad, under the guidance of academic staff and industry professionals.
