BA/BS in Digital Economy

This three-year bachelor's prepares economists able to work with digital information, analysing, evaluating, planning and applying it within a changing business environment to resolve business problems and improve the efficiency of business processes. The curriculum spans business finance and risk management, international finance, econometrics, international economics, digital banking processes, big data processing and management, electronic commerce, digital marketing fundamentals, macroeconomics, microeconomics, and the economics of investment and business enterprises, supported by three stages of practice described as cognitive, professional and final professional placements. Teaching introduces current fintech business models and digital tools for processing and visualising economic and financial data, and includes a simulated practice-firm placement at the university's own training centre, internationally accredited for the practical business skills it develops. Students learn to gather and interpret economic data using modern information technologies, generate company management reports from various databases, and plan and organise the economic, financial and investment activity of companies operating in national and international markets.
