General Description: Objective of a study programme: To prepare high qualification specialists of cosmetology, who are creative, think critically and are socially responsible, understand the principles of healthy lifestyle, are able to evaluate influence of external and internal factors for health and skin, to provide procedures of cosmetology, apply modern technologies, responsibly and effectively manage the processes of beauty service business, develop and seek for constant personal and professional improvement. Learning outcomes: The graduates of this study programme will be able: 1. to apply knowledge of peculiarities of organism and human anatomic, physiological, pathological skin and/or skin lesions, the composition and purpose of cosmetic products, principles of performing and arranging cosmetologic procedures while providing beauty services to persons of any age. 2. to apply in their professional activity the principles of healthy lifestyle and knowledge about external and internal factor influence on health, skin and/or skin lesions, aiming to form positive customer attitudes towards areas of health, beauty and life quality improvement. 3. to gather and analyse data, to use informational technologies, to apply quantitative and qualitative research methods and to prepare research instruments, necessary to solve relevant problems of a professional activity. 4. to analyse beauty service market, the quality of provided services, and customer’s needs seeking to manage effectively the processes of beauty service business. 5. to analyse independently the condition of client’s skin and/or skin lesions, basing upon physiology and pathological changes, age criterion, by selecting targeted evaluation methods and equipment, as well as identifying aesthetic needs of a person and necessity of cosmetic care procedures. 6. to prepare responsibly and independently short-term and long-term plans of cosmetic care, taking into consideration the aesthetic needs of the client and one’s skin and/or skin lesions’ condition. 7. to analyse independently and choose responsibly cosmetic products, materials and equipment to perform cosmetologic procedures, taking into consideration their application indications, contraindications, purpose and influence on skin and/or skin lesions. 8. to perform cosmetic facial and body skin procedures independently and professionally, procedures of nail care and decorative cosmetics, taking into consideration client’s skin condition and aesthetic needs, as well as regarding requirements and arrangement principles of cosmetic products, equipment and apparatus application and procedure performance. 9. to ensure the quality and safety of carried out cosmetic procedures, in accordance with hygiene and quality requirements, ergonomic and professional ethics’ principles as well as legal acts regulating cosmetologic activity. 10. to communicate and cooperate with own and other area specialists and clients, evaluate critically professional experience, constantly learn, teach and consult clients, performing promotion of professional experience. 11. to apply communicative, creativity and critical thinking skills, aiming for personal improvement and making motivated decisions for solving aesthetic problems of a client. Objective of the Video Production and Media study programme - To prepare creators of video, able to design media products independently or in the team, through application of the modern principles of video and the technologies of the new media, to act innovatively and responsibly in the national and international market of audiovisual industries. Access to professional activity: After graduation from the Study Programme of Video Production and Media the specialists are ready to professionally produce the movies of different genre and format, TV shows, commercials, music clips and implement other projects of audiovisual art. Graduates are able to do a creative work in producing companies, film studios, event and advertising agencies, television, enterprises and companies, where there is a necessary production of audiovisual art products through application of new media languages and technologies. Graduates of the programme can establish their own media companies, independently and creatively perform in different national and international enterprises of media, and get productively involved in the development of the sector of Lithuanian creative industries. Access to further studies: Studies can be continued in Lithuanian and foreign higher schools, implementing II cycle study programmes in the group of Art study field. Graduates, aiming at studying in the second cycle studies of Media Art field must conform to the requirements pre-set by the higher school and in the descriptor of the group of study field or fields, have knowledge and abilities necessary for studies in accordance with the programmes of a certain field.

Objective of a study programme: To prepare specialists of international business, able to establish and manage an international business company, to initiate and implement business projects, corresponding to company goals consumer needs, to develop systems of internal and external communication which ensure effective communication with business partners and customers in national and international markets. Learning outcomes: After graduating from the studies, a person will be able: 1. To integrally apply knowledge of economics, management and other social sciences when solving complex business tasks in the changing international markets. 2. To creatively apply modern information technologies and communication models when acting in multicultural teams and global business environment under conditions of competition and risk. 3. To independently do market research, to identify the potential of target markets and, depending on market features, to form a company's communication strategy and coordinate a marketing complex. 4. To analyze and assess international business environment, trends of business development when implementing company goals and making strategic decisions on business development. 5. To plan the activity of an international business company when drawing various funding sources, when efficiently controlling human, tangible and financial resources of a company in the stages of business establishment and development. 6. To control the processes of an international business company's activity when applying efficient methods of management and when assuring the quality of implemented activity and projects. 8. To create and develop systems of internal and external communication of an international business company, which form a company's image and help to efficiently communicate a company's offers in international markets. 9. Methods of assessment of learning achievements: Cumulative assessment and a ten-point assessment system are applied. When applying cumulative assessment the learning outcomes are evaluated by interim assignments. Course unit programmes foresee certain structural elements of assessment, their weight in the final assessment, content, criteria and requirements for certain tasks of assessment. Studies of each course unit end with an examination. In the Final Thesis students demonstrate the achieved learning outcomes of International Business and Communication study programme. Will be able to apply in an integrated manner the latest knowledge of economics, management, marketing and other social sciences when creating a business and solving complex business tasks under the changing conditions of the environment. 2. Will be able to apply the essential theories and concepts, that the management of sustainable business and green technologies are based upon, responding to the fields of strategic business development of a company. 3. Choosing proper qualitative and quantitative research methods will be able to do independent research, to collect, structure, analyze, interpret and use information necessary for professional activity, to formulate reasoned research conclusions. 4. Developing the concepts of sustainable business and promoting positive business changes, will be able to plan, organize, control and manage the processes of company activity, by choosing innovative technological solutions. 5. Activities of teaching and learning: Innovative teaching and learning methods are applied, it is aimed at active student participation in the study process: a student-oriented teaching is based on practical tasks, emphasizing the importance of independent work of a student and abilities to creatively solve different situations (problem-based teaching, analysis of practical situations and case studies, creative workshops, mind and concept maps/concept maps, expert method, project methodand etc.). Activating and heuristic study methods are coordinated with traditional methods of developing knowledge and abilities: lectures, seminars, discussions and consultations. Methods of assessment of learning achievements: Accumulative assessment and a ten-point assessment system are applied. Applying accumulative assessment, learning outcomes are assessed during interim tests. At the end of the studies of every course unit students take an examination or get an evaluation of independent work. Objective(s) of a study programme: To prepare specialists of finance area to work in banks and other institutions providing financial services, who would be able to carry out economic and financial assessment of economic entities, to make decisions independently when providing banking, investment and other services of financial mediation. Learning outcomes: After graduating from the studies, a person will be able: 1. to apply in the professional activity the principles of organizing finance system and its operation, directives of the European Union, normative acts of the Republic of Lithuania, which regulate national system of finance, activity of banks and other finance institutions; 2. to assess the business environment of finance institutions on the approach of macroeconomics and to ensure a suitable process of managing services of finance institutions; 3. to prepare financial, tax and statistical accounts to both internal and external consumers; 4. to apply methods of managing property and non-property resources when analyzing processes of financial activity of business entities; 5. to systematize and analyze the data on the activity of business entities when implementing the strategy of their development; 6. to apply knowledge of bank products when forming a bank product basket, which corresponds to the needs of a customer and when implementing its constant monitoring; 7. to apply modern methods of communication and sales, ensuring personal results and the results of the activity of finance institution; 8. to carry out an independent assessment of economic viability of different projects; 9. to apply the main methods of assessing customer creditworthiness and risk when providing with a bank credit; 10. to form and manage a portfolio of investment products, which corresponds to needs and possibilities of a customer; 11. to manage an investment process, through assessment of the risk and the expected income of different means of investment and a formed investment portfolio; 12. to choose methods of international payment when funding international business operations of business entities; 13. to constantly assess one’s professional activity, knowledge and experience, to foresee trends of self-expression and self-development and to develop one’s professionalism when acting in a changing business environment.
