Overview
This 1.5-year, 90-ECTS master's programme trains international law specialists to represent and defend the rights and interests of states, international organisations, companies, and private individuals on the world stage, focused on identifying, analysing, and resolving problems of international legal regulation. Students learn to apply international law sources and rulings handed down by international courts, arbitral tribunals, and administrative bodies to specific cases, and to ensure coherence between international, regional, and national law.
Learning outcomes include critically analysing, interpreting, and comparing international legal documents using the methodology of scientific cognition, drafting legal documents and representing clients in dispute resolution, and qualifying the actions of international law subjects to propose measures suited to a specific situation, drawing on knowledge from different branches of international and national law and international judicial practice. The programme also develops skills in working in an international context and presenting legal conclusions to both professional and non-professional audiences.
