This programme trains senior managers and leaders of educational institutions to run them strategically, introduce innovation, and shape and implement education policy aimed at making schooling more effective and accessible. Study subjects include the governance of the education system, education policy and analysis, data analytics for educational quality management, human-resource management in education, project management of educational services, and the supervision of educational supervisors, combined with an internship and electives in public relations or innovation policy, before a final project. Students learn to analyse policy trends and formulate solutions that widen access, develop long-term strategies for institutions facing change, introduce new technologies and teaching methods, apply social-science research to resolve problems, and lead diverse teams while resolving conflict among different actors in education. The programme requires several years of prior hands-on experience in the education field, and the university describes it as the only MPA-type programme of its kind for education-sector managers in Lithuania.
