Overview

This one-year LL.M. trains legal specialists in tax and financial law, covering the regulation of financial services, financial markets and company taxation alongside financial accounting rules. Coursework is grouped into tax law, financial law and related subjects, taught through case studies, mock trials, mediation simulations and oral and written assessment rather than a thesis, with an elective choice in the second semester between sustainability regulation and anti-money-laundering topics. It is presented as the only specialised master's of its kind in Lithuania, aimed at practical rather than academic skills, preparing graduates for roles in law firms, financial institutions, tax administration bodies, dispute resolution tribunals and independent consultancy.
