This master's programme qualifies students for a career in cybersecurity with a specific focus on international relations and cyberintelligence, built on an interdisciplinary, international curriculum taught in partnership with universities in several European countries. Core classes include the fundamentals of cryptography, digital forensics and secure software development, operating-systems and application security, international cybersecurity management, ethical hacking, cyberprotection systems, network security and international cyberintelligence, with electives such as mobile security and the security of cyberphysical and IoT systems. Students learn to analyse threat information from multiple intelligence sources, identify vulnerabilities and assess the capabilities of cybersecurity criminals or foreign intelligence entities, install and manage secure networks and servers, oversee an organisation's cybersecurity programme and policy, and respond to and investigate security incidents using appropriate countermeasures. Teaching relies on literature review, case studies, laboratory tasks and project work, partly through a virtual-learning environment, with cumulative assessment on most subjects aside from the final thesis and practice.
