BA/BS in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science

This BSc (Honours) builds the analytical and technical foundation needed to work with algorithms, machine learning, and large-scale data, giving students real-world skills from early in the course. Study begins with programming in Python, before moving into the core ideas and workflows that define data science and artificial intelligence practice. The curriculum progresses through algorithms, data structures, and the fundamentals of computer science theory, including discrete mathematics and logic, before advancing to web applications and database systems. This structured progression helps students understand both how intelligent systems are built and the data that drives them. Delivered full-time over three years at the Mauritius campus, the course prepares graduates for immediate entry into AI and data-focused careers or further study.
