Overview
This MSc builds the quantitative, financial, and coding skills required to create modern FinTech products powered by complex financial data, suited to work in start-ups or in established financial organisations. Students collaborate with academic experts across finance, computer science, and mathematics, with group projects sometimes drawing in peers from the university's Hendon and Dubai campuses for an international perspective.
A module on current topics in Financial Technology allows students to help shape their own learning activities around personal interests, while most modules follow a portfolio-based assessment approach that builds a practical body of work to showcase to employers. Students develop competencies in technological agility, problem-solving, collaborative innovation, and communication throughout the course. Offered full-time over one year or part-time over two years at the Mauritius campus.
